FLYR is seeking an Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform to lead a team in Barcelona, Spain. The Engineering Manager will lead the team responsible for cloud infrastructure, CICD, and observability.
The position will collaborate with product owners on complex business requirements and deliver technical solutions. Engineering Manager will participate in building team culture and promote success of team members. The role involves working with technicians across FLYR to develop company standards for infrastructure, applications, and workloads.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and leading a team
- Driving onboarding and operational support
- Collaborating with product owners
- Building platform services
- Defining and fulfilling the engineering hiring plan
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud native architectures
- Experience operating software services in production
- Experience leading DevOps on a cloud hosted SaaS
- Experience with container orchestration technologies
- Experience hiring infrastructure engineers and software developers
