Blenheim Chalcot India is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable, and production-grade data systems. This role involves high-impact leadership and hands-on building within a high-growth, multi-venture environment. The Principal Engineer will be instrumental in leading, designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable products, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams in Mumbai and London.Role involves:

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Overseeing project planning and execution.
• Providing technical guidance and expertise.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Implementing and maintaining ELT processes.
• Ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining data models.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in engineering or full-stack software engineering.
• Experience in managing and developing junior engineers.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java.
• Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD practices for data solutions.
• Ability to take ownership over outputs and drive complex data projects to completion.
• Adaptability and comfort working in ambiguous, problem-solving environments.
• Teamwork and successful cross-functional delivery skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
