Job Description
Pathward is seeking a FinOps Analyst I to join their team. This is a remote position within a hybrid, remote-office company. The ideal candidate will work with partners on the creation of funds flow and new account setup, as well as establish ongoing reconciliation processes. They will reconcile all DDA account activity and escalate identified issues for resolution. The role also involves creating entries for manual money movement between accounts, facilitating the refund check process, and overall account maintenance.

What this role involves:
  • Understanding the funding flow process.
  • Working with new and existing clients and processors to ensure programs conform to bank requirements.
  • Opening and maintaining bank and client-owned accounts.
  • Analyzing account activity and reconciling accounts using processor and internally generated reports.
  • Identifying outstanding account issues and researching to determine the cause and appropriate resolution process.
  • Following approved processes and procedures for opening/closing DDA accounts.
  • Working the refund check and wind-down process.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically requires less than one year of related experience.
