Director Partnerships

Job Description

Headout is seeking a Director of Partnerships to drive growth through strategic alliances. This role, reporting to the VP of Growth & Strategy, involves designing and executing a partnership strategy, leveraging existing networks, and building new connections to establish Headout as a key player in the travel industry.

The Director will build technical and commercial foundations, drive senior relationships, lead a team, and own the strategic growth of partnerships. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing, will be essential.

What this role involves:

• Designing and executing a partnership strategy to drive Headout's growth.
• Building and maintaining senior relationships within the travel industry.
• Leading, training, and coaching a team to expand Headout's value proposition globally.
• Identifying and negotiating strategic growth partnerships.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build the distribution business.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in solving problems in innovative ways.
• Comfortable operating at both high and detailed levels.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, startup environments.
• Data-driven and results-oriented approach.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• 8+ years of experience in distributions/partnerships/B2B sales within the travel industry.
