Job Description
Beauty Pie, a luxury beauty and wellness buyers’ club, is seeking a Video Editor to join their team. This role involves editing raw footage into professional-quality videos for paid social advertisements, primarily using UGC-style content and some highly produced content. The Video Editor will report to the Senior Videographer and Editor and collaborate closely with the Paid Social Lead to align video content with brand objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into professional-quality videos for paid social ads.
- Partner with the Paid Social Lead to align video content with brand objectives.
- Incorporate motion graphics and special effects into video projects.
- Ensure videos adhere to technical and creative standards.
- Complete post-production tasks including grading, sound, and encoding.
- Optimize videos for different advertising channels.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Organize and archive video assets.
- Contribute creative ideas for video content.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in video editing for brands; beauty experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing.
- Experience with both highly-produced video and UGC-style content.
- Experience with color grading and sound design.
- Knowledge of video compression and optimization for web video.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience optimizing videos for different platforms and formats.
- Ability to work well under pressure with a flexible attitude.
- Passion for storytelling.
- Animation skills desirable.
