Job Description
UNiDAYS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their B2B team. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building innovative solutions to delight UNiDAYS members and drive product success. This role involves working alongside product, delivery, and engineering teams to define, refine, build, and measure the impact of implemented solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will play a key part in the transition of UNiDAYS marketplace services to a modern, distributed, event-driven, cloud-based architecture.Responsibilities:
  • Contributing to the team's goal of delivering UNiDAYS next generation marketplace product.
  • Delivering impactful features with a pragmatic approach.
  • Proactively contributing to the betterment of other engineers through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Providing technical and strategic feedback on projects.
  • Prioritizing impactful problems and driving change.
  • Communicating solutions/risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Championing user-centric solutions.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of AWS, C#/.Net.
  • Experience implementing Microservice style architectures in a cloud environment.
  • Passion for engineering craft.
  • Coaching mentality.
  • Desire to build stable, scalable, secure, observable, and performant services.
  • Understanding of how work aligns with business goals.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Accountability for performance.
