Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their R&D technology center in Galway, Ireland. This role involves contributing to a unified technology platform for value-based care, aiming to improve care and reduce spending. The Staff Software Engineer will play a leading role in a collaborative engineering organization, focusing on the design and delivery of software that supports the operation and growth of Signify Health's business.

The Staff Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize Signify Health's mobile platform and applications, advocating for modern software engineering best practices and collaborating with architects and software engineers to introduce new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solutions for complex enterprise-scale business problems.
• Understand both business and technical implications of architectural decisions.
• Drive improvements to software engineering practices.
• Research, recommend, and lead the adoption of leading-edge technologies.
• Invest in yourself and others through learning and mentorship.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development and/or architecture experience, ideally in the mobile space.
• Strong foundation in commercial software engineering: problem-solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Experience as a staff/senior developer in shipping and supporting enterprise-level, high-volume consumer mobile application software, ideally with in-depth knowledge of the react and react-native technology stack.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
