Compliance Manager, APAC at Fusion Worldwide

Fusion Worldwide is seeking a Compliance Manager, APAC to develop and manage the APAC compliance program, reporting to the Director of Global Compliance and Privacy in Singapore. This role involves managing privacy requirements for customer and employee data, drafting privacy policies, and reviewing privacy clauses in contracts. The Compliance Manager will also handle regional export compliance operations, including due diligence, denied parties screening, license applications, and product classification. They will interface with administration and sales, maintain classifications with manufacturers, and integrate compliance controls into the system.Responsibilities include supporting export compliance training, reviewing regulatory changes, conducting customer site visits, and running compliance enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will understand the regulatory landscape in APAC, including PRC, and assess its impact.Responsibilities:

• Manage privacy requirements for customer and employee data across APAC.
• Draft privacy policies and conduct data mapping.
• Review privacy clauses in contracts.
• Manage regional export compliance operations.
• Interface with administration and sales.
• Support export compliance training.
• Conduct customer site visits.
• Run compliance enhancement projects.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years' compliance experience in privacy and trade compliance.
• Experience in the electronic components industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
