Job Description
The Line Lead role at Nature's Bakery is responsible for coordinating team activities related to production, ensuring food product quality and safety, team member safety, and maintaining area housekeeping. The Line Lead also ensures adherence to the production schedule, optimizes line efficiencies, and communicates effectively with production leaders.

Role Involves:
  • Maintaining a neat, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Complying with company and plant policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring OSHA guidelines are followed.
  • Monitoring case attainment and reacting to schedule changes.
  • Ensuring packaging standards are met.
  • Setting up equipment to centerline settings.
  • Handling start-up, change-over, and shut-down duties.
  • Communicating, training, coaching, and motivating team members.
  • Filling in as necessary due to absences.
  • Passing down training information and company values.
  • Loading, removing, and off-bearing materials and products.
  • Assisting in developing SOPs.
  • Creating daily reports.
  • Developing and communicating visual KPIs.
  • Conducting daily post-op meetings.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Familiarity with OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to use lockout tagout procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify and react to changes in circumstances.
