Packaging Operator ($18/hr - Day, Swing and Night shifts available)

Job Description

Nature's Bakery is seeking a Packaging Operator for their Hazelwood, Missouri facility. This role offers a starting pay of $18/hour with opportunities for promotion within 6 weeks. The company is undergoing a major transformation, making it an exciting time to join the team.Role Involves:

• Operating packaging machines, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Reporting equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly and helping find solutions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Experience with packaging machinery or equipment (a plus).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects (typically 30-50 lbs).
• Strong focus on quality control and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment malfunctions.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
