Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician role at a manufacturing company involves monitoring quality assurance and food safety activities. The technician will test and inspect products, compile statistical data, and recommend modifications to standards.
  • Providing support to the Quality Assurance Management team.
  • Achieving quality assurance operational objectives.
  • Performing tests at specified stages in the production process.
  • Testing products for qualities like temperature and defects.
  • Evaluating data and writing reports.
  • Recommending modifications to quality or production standards.
  • Completing special projects.
  • Quality analysis of incoming dry goods.
  • Verification of specifications.
  • Problem-solving on quality issues.
  • Documentation of key metrics.
  • Maintenance of calibration and logs of laboratory instruments.
  • General analysis and sampling of production samples.
  • Collection of retention samples.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance standards and protocols.
  • Food Safety & documentation experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the 4 points of QA.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Food/Beverage manufacturing experience a bonus.
