Job Description
Ocado Technology is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for driving technical excellence and contributing to the team's delivery. The Infrastructure Engineer will be a go-to person with deep expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge sharing abilities. They will collaborate with others to find great solutions and actively participate in technical decision-making.

Role involves:
  • Contributing to setting technical direction
  • Mentoring and coaching other engineers
  • Supporting architectural decision making
  • Collaborating with the Product Team to understand customer needs
  • Building relationships with stakeholders
  • Actively promoting new ideas in the infrastructure and automation space
  • Creating tools and processes to reduce repetitive tasks
  • Delivering solutions to ongoing support queries

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in administering, automating, and troubleshooting across modern infrastructure platforms
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Environments (Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure services)
  • Proven expertise in PowerShell for system automation, data handling, and admin tasks
  • Experience with Python and scripting against REST APIs
  • Comfortable working with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar CI/CD platforms
  • Practical experience with Terraform and cloud provisioning
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in TCP/IP networking, plus hands-on with DNS, DHCP, PKI in large-scale or production environments
