Compliance Manager, APAC at Fusion Worldwide

Fusion Worldwide is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the APAC compliance program, including export control and privacy. This role reports to the Director of Global Export Compliance and Privacy in Singapore and is crucial for the company's global expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage privacy requirements for customer and employee data across APAC.
• Draft privacy policies and conduct data mapping.
• Review privacy clauses in third-party contracts.
• Implement privacy compliance requirements into business processes.
• Manage regional export compliance, including due diligence, screening, licensing, and product classification.
• Interface with administration and sales to ensure smooth order flow.
• Maintain proper classification with manufacturers and distributors.
• Incorporate export compliance controls into our system.
• Support training on export compliance matters.
• Review changes to export compliance laws and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and customer interviews for screening.
• Support training and audits when required.
• Run compliance enhancement projects, such as automation of screening.
• Understand regulatory changes in APAC and conduct impact assessments.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years' US and APAC compliance experience in privacy and trade compliance.
• Electronic components industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.
• Proactive, self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Overall planning and organizing competency.
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%).
