Job Description
Coursera is seeking an Associate Content Acquisition Manager to support the sourcing and expansion of University and Industry partners. This role involves contributing to identifying partners, assisting in research, outreach, and coordination of early partnership discussions, as well as supporting the management of sourcing from current Partners. The Associate Content Acquisition Manager will report to the Global Director but will support other senior members of the team and play a critical role in enabling new partnerships to be successfully transitioned to the account management team.Coursera is committed to building a globally diverse team and offers flexibility in workspace choices, allowing employees to work from home, offices, hubs, or co-working spaces.Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying high-demand content areas.
  • Support the research of potential university and industry partners.
  • Help prepare engagement materials and tailor messaging.
  • Maintain partner databases and assist with the coordination of initial outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of partnership proposals.
  • Participate in internal meetings related to potential partnerships.
  • Assist in the transition process of newly secured partnerships.
  • Help maintain and update the partnership pipeline in internal systems.
  • Support reporting needs by compiling partnership metrics, insights, and challenges.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years in account management, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Genuine passion for education and a strong commitment to Coursera’s mission.
