Job Description
Engage Senior Therapy is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join their team at an assisted living facility in Westford, MA. This role involves providing occupational therapy services to a diverse geriatric population, focusing on improving their functional abilities and quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities and cognitive performance.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on ADLs and functional mobility.
- Lead wellness initiatives and group fitness classes.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff.
- Educate patients and families on strategies to improve independence.
- Document patient care services in compliance with standards.
- Deliver care at assisted living locations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Active or pending state license to practice occupational therapy.
- Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience or interest in geriatrics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
