Job Description
Mento is seeking a senior leader in software engineering to serve as an Engineering Coach. This role involves partnering with members to help them achieve their goals, improve leadership and communication skills, solve problems, and increase job satisfaction. The coach will work virtually using the Mento Platform and Tools. They will also participate in ongoing training to enhance coaching abilities and contribute to the Mento coaching community.
Role Involves:
- Providing 1:1 coaching to members
- Participating in training sessions
- Communicating with members via email or chat
- Sharing coaching tools and insights
- Acting as an ambassador of the Mento community
Requirements:
- 20+ years of experience managing engineering teams and coaching individuals
- Experience as a director, vice president, or other senior software engineering leader
- Passion for helping people advance in the workplace
- Self-awareness and high emotional IQ
- Comfortable working in a startup environment
- Able to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching
- Based in Europe and speak English
