Group Financial Controller

Job Description

The Lockwood Group is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead its financial operations. This role is based in Stamford, CT, on a hybrid basis (2 days a week in office). The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for shaping the financial infrastructure, integrating new acquisitions, and providing financial insights. The ideal candidate will lead a lean team and contribute to the company's growth.Responsibilities include:

• Revenue & Expense Management

• Private Equity Reporting & Analysis
• Hands-On Contribution

Requirements:

• CPA and or ACA (UK) required, MBA preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in a professional accounting/auditing firm. Big 4 or similar preferred
• Prior experience working for a private equity-backed portfolio company is highly advantageous
• Expert-level proficiency in US GAAP is essential
• Demonstrable experience with modern ERP systems and leading system conversions/integrations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data and provide insightful reporting
