DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Two Six Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Herndon, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex challenges and contributing to a safer global future. This role involves providing troubleshooting and operations support, with a focus on security, containerization, and automation. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with a dedicated group of engineers to improve the customer experience through the delivery of highly secure cloud-based offerings.Two Six Technologies offers a collaborative and innovative environment where team members are empowered to push boundaries and make a significant impact.What this role involves:

• Troubleshooting and operations support.
• Focusing on security, containerization, and automation.
• Improving customer experience.
• Delivering highly secure cloud-based offerings.
• Creating new environments/services/offerings.
• Coordinating with outside groups, architecture, and security design.
• Identifying when implementations are not highly available or have defects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years Linux Systems Experience
• Hands-on Scripting and Automation Experience
• Experience in AWS Cloud

Nice to have:

• Experience with DevOps tools (e.x ELK, kibana)
• Experience with Cloud tools and techniques (e.x. cloud formation, RDS)
• Experience with Networks
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Node.js, GO, Rust, MarkLogic, Java, Electron, VUE, Vuetify, web app
• Experience with Performance tuning
• Experience with Architecture
