Job Description
Parallel is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join their team. This is a fully remote role with a preference for candidates based in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama. The Account Executive will be responsible for new business sales in K-12 schools, owning the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. They will build strong relationships with senior-level School District Officials, showcasing Parallel’s services and value.Role involves:
- Becoming knowledgeable about Parallel’s products and services.
- Owning the full-cycle sales process.
- Establishing long-term customer relationships.
- Maintaining customer and deal records in SalesForce.
- Carrying an annual Logo and revenue target quota.
- Partnering with the customer success team.
- Contributing to process and messaging improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ Years successfully selling K12 solutions; SpEd experience is a plus.
- Proven track record in B2B sales.
- Experience developing relationships and closing deals with AR/MS/LA/AL schools is extremely beneficial.
- Deep understanding of the RFP process.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
