JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981, is a leading multi-channel retailer of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores and is focused on various retail segments. They are proud to offer customers the latest products from top brands.
The Store Manager plays a key role in leading the store. He/She will be responsible for the economic management, personnel management, customer service, visual merchandising and logistics/loss prevention.
Role involves: - Achieving commercial goals and KPI growth
- Managing costs and optimizing store profitability
- Managing staff and recruiting in collaboration with the People department
- Developing and motivating staff and promoting career progression
- Ensuring quality customer service
- Managing complaints effectively
- Ensuring good store presentation
- Communicating product launch guidelines
- Managing merchandise inputs and outputs
- Participating in loss prevention and control
- Managing daily cash operations
Requirements: - Previous experience in managing structured stores, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts
- Good knowledge of English
- Leadership and good relational and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Office package (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
