Job Description
Authentic Brands Group is seeking an SVP, General Manager for the DACH region. This role involves leading Authentic's business in the DACH territory, reporting to the President, Lifestyle EMEAI. The SVP, General Manager DACH will have overall responsibility for Authentic’s Lifestyle and Entertainment businesses in the DACH territory and specifically Germany, including business development goals, current licensee royalty streams, licensee management, execution of marketing initiatives, and managing administrative costs.

What this role involves:
  • Leading Authentic’s DACH territory strategy.
  • Developing and executing a multi-million-dollar business plan.
  • Extending and expanding Authentic brand presence and distribution in the DACH territory.
  • Leading relationships with key retailers/commercial real estate companies.
  • Collaborating with licensees to develop and execute critical action plans.
  • Maximizing supply chain connectivity within the region.
  • Building and leading business development in the DACH territory.
  • Driving royalty overages through proactive brand and marketing tactics.

Requirements:
  • 15+ years’ experience in fashion, retail, or celebrity and entertainment.
  • Established knowledge of the retail landscape in the DACH territory.
  • Executive-level leadership qualities.
  • Extensive experience leading all aspects of a business operation.
  • Ability to anticipate market challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Decisive problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with the mechanics of the licensing business model.
  • Extensive network of contacts in the licensing and retail sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
