Engineering Manager, Extensibility

Airbyte is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Extensibility team, based in San Francisco, CA. This role involves launching Airbyte's new Data Activation product and releasing the next generation of the Connector Builder. The Engineering Manager will expand the feature set to unlock no-code integration with APIs for AI and Reverse ETL.Airbyte is committed to providing as much context to its current employees and candidates. • Leading and managing the Extensibility team.
• Providing technical leadership for connector development.
• Mentoring and developing engineers.
• Overseeing the design, delivery, and maintenance of the customer-facing connector IDE.
• Driving the strategic vision for API connectors.
• Overseeing project planning and execution.
• Managing project timelines, resources, and risks.
• Advocating for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience building integrations at scale.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for continuous learning.
