Job Description
Tekion, a company disrupting the automotive industry with its cloud-native platform, is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join their team in Bangalore. This role involves leading product innovation, aligning user experience with business goals, and mentoring a team of designers. The Lead Product Designer will optimize design workflows, leverage data for design decisions, and oversee design execution from concept to final product. They will also communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, fostering a culture of experimentation.
Role involves:
- Leading the creation of innovative design solutions.
- Harmonising user needs with business objectives.
- Mentoring the design team.
- Streamlining design processes.
- Utilizing user insights and analytics to inform designs.
- Guiding the design team through every stage of the design process.
- Presenting ideas and strategies to team members and stakeholders.
- Encouraging the team to explore new ideas and innovative approaches.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in end-to-end product design.
- Expertise in UX and Visual Design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in designing for B2B, enterprise, or platform applications is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketers.
- Skilled in developing and refining scalable design systems.
- Passionate about embedding accessibility and inclusive design principles into products.
- Consistently prioritizing user needs throughout the product development cycle.
