Job Description
Veeam is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify new account opportunities. This role is based in Bucharest, Romania, and Veeam offers a relocation package for candidates outside of Romania. The SDR will use phone, email, social media, and chat to connect with prospects and foster meaningful interactions. They will qualify marketing-generated demand and engage with buying groups to validate potential opportunities.
Role Involves:
- Generating new demand for the channel and sales team.
- Qualifying marketing-generated demand.
- Identifying and reaching out to additional decision-makers.
- Nurturing prospects using various touch tactics.
- Tracking and managing account info and activities in Salesforce.
- Engaging in productive conversations with target buyer personas.
- Making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Maximizing Veeam product coverage within a defined region.
- Coordinating sales activities within the Veeam team.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of Veeam products and their benefits.
- Meeting monthly KPIs.
- Participating in ongoing enablement.
Requirements:
- Professional level of English and French.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
- Previous sales experience (ideally in high-tech) is a plus.
- Outbound calling experience is a plus.
- Technical understanding of storage backup and cloud backup is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of social media and social selling best practices.
- Excellent correspondence skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
