Business Analyst

Job Description

Veeam, the leading provider of data resilience solutions, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Corporate Technology team. This role is based in Bucharest, Romania, and involves end-to-end analysis of Veeam's internal projects. The Business Analyst will collaborate with the Web Team and various internal business teams to optimize the use of the existing technological environment.Role involves:

• Supporting strategic roadmap and maintaining development backlog.
• Establishing functional requirements for the development team.
• Improving systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
• Collaborating with teams across regions to gather and prioritize requirements.
• Analyzing business processes and systems to define problems and solutions.
• Translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Participating in the implementation of new systems and features.
• Creating project documentation, including use cases and test scenarios.
• Ensuring the quality of product deliverables.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• 2+ years of experience in web-related projects.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Ability to create UML/BPMN diagrams and mockups.
• Proficiency in reading data in XML/JSON formats.
• Experience with SQL and API data.
• Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) and integration patterns.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
