Job Description

Capco is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its team in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and product vision to build end-to-end AI solutions, focusing on strategic, high-impact projects. The Senior Data Scientist will work within a multidisciplinary team, participating in the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery, with the freedom to create, experiment, and generate real value for clients.

Role Involves:

• Designing and implementing scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Developing and integrating machine learning models with a focus on real-world applications.
• Creating, training, and validating various types of models, including classification, regression, clustering, and time series.
• Applying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques with vectorized databases.
• Contributing to the development of products with a front-end interface.
• Collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Advanced programming skills in Python.
• Practical experience in creating and evaluating Machine Learning models.
• Experience with front-end development (React, Vue.js, or similar).
• Proficiency in vectorized databases (FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, etc.).
• Practical experience with RAG and integration with language models (LLMs).
• Ability to work on the complete product cycle: conception, prototyping, and delivery.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD tools (desirable).
• Projects focused on generative AI (desirable).
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation metrics (desirable).
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI for collaboration with the product team (desirable).
