Job Description
Capco is seeking an Equipment Inspection Engineer to work in Macaé. The candidate will be responsible for conducting audits and quality monitoring of suppliers in the Oil & Gas sector. They will ensure compliance with contractual requirements, evaluate manufacturing deviations, and provide technical support.   • Planning and executing audits and quality monitoring events at suppliers.
  • Analyzing documentation, conducting inspections, and managing corrective action plans.
  • Ensuring suppliers and sub-suppliers meet contractual requirements.
  • Evaluating manufacturing deviations and responding to technical queries.
  • Preparing technical reports and proposing improvements.
  • Participating in meetings and managing non-conformities.
  • Supporting equipment qualification and using Petrobras systems for quality management.
  • Traveling to national suppliers and providing impartial support in audits and problem resolution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in audits or inspection of manufacturing or quality control of equipment in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Functional knowledge of the MM Module of SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced English.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Knowledge of ABNT NBR 16278.
  • Experience in manufacturing inspection.
  • Qualification and certification of personnel for the oil and gas sector.
  • Proof of training in ISO 9001:2015.
  • Certified Lead Auditor certificate issued by an IRCA-recognized entity or ABENDI-RAC Certified Auditor Registration.
  • Training in ASME IX, ASME VIII, and/or B31 3 welding processes, with 3 years of experience.
  • Training in ULTRASONIC processes and knowledge in RX, LP, and PM, with 3 years of experience.
  • Training in NACE processes and knowledge of Petrobras standards, with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience (minimum 3 years) in audits, quality management, or manufacturing inspection in at least one of the following equipment disciplines: Electrical/electronic, Rotating, Valves, Boilermaking, Load lifting, Wellhead and conventional or intelligent lower completion systems, Subsea equipment (MANIFOLDS, ANM, PLEM, PLET, FLEXIBLE PIPES, UEH, etc.), Anchoring and offloading hoses.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Production Engineering.
