Senior Data Scientist, Product

Shakepay is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their product and design team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about product analytics and transforming complex data into actionable strategies. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of Shakepay's products by leveraging analytical skills to influence product development and drive informed decision-making.

The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and senior leadership to define KPIs, design experiments, and develop machine learning models. They will also monitor KPIs, conduct ad hoc investigations, and drive the adoption of product analytics tools across the organization.

What this role involves:

• Creating insights and recommendations for product roadmaps and strategy.
• Collaborating with product and marketing teams to design experiments and validate hypotheses.
• Defining top-level product KPIs and setting success metrics.
• Developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conducting ad hoc investigations and making evidence-based recommendations.
• Driving the adoption of product analytics tools.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product focused Data Scientist or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience conducting deep-dive statistical analysis.
• Strong product sense and understanding of experimentation and A/B testing.
• Solid understanding of dashboarding and data visualization tools.
