Senior Staff Engineer(Applications)

Innovaccer is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer (Applications) to contribute to building an amazing product experience. The role involves collaborating with other engineers to develop delightful feature experiences that address customer pain points. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building applications and services using Python.

The Senior Staff Engineer will develop and drive high-level strategies, take a hands-on approach to implementation, and build efficient and reusable applications and abstractions. They will also identify and communicate back-end best practices, participate in the project life-cycle, and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the product.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and driving high-level strategies.
• Building efficient and reusable applications and abstractions.
• Identifying and communicating back-end best practices.
• Participating in the project life-cycle.
• Analyzing and improving performance, scalability, stability, and security.
• Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Providing technical leadership and direction for software development projects.
• Defining the architectural vision and strategy.
• Designing and architecting scalable, robust, and high-performance software solutions.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience with a start-up mentality.
• Expertise in Python and experience with any web framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask etc).
• UI/web development experience is a plus.
• Application architecture and solution design experience.
• Experience working on large-scale B2C/B2B SaaS.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization.
• Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB.
• Strong experience in cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services and Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
• Applied AI experience.
