Job Description
CoLab is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their business development team. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a knack for making conversations happen and a desire to learn from every interaction. This role offers opportunities to transition into Account Executive positions.He/she will spend their days conducting research to connect with engineering leaders, engage in compelling conversations, and deliver qualified pipeline to the Account Executives team. The BDR will work independently but also collaborate with teammates to fine-tune approaches. They should be comfortable with cold calls and eager to learn about technical subject matter.What this role involves:
  • Generating qualified pipeline and driving growth through identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers via cold calls, emails, and social outreach.
  • Being responsible for monthly and quarterly SQL and SAO targets.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for many prospects, representing the brand's voice and values while uncovering pain points and aligning them to solutions.
  • Conducting in-depth account research to identify key decision-makers and understand organizational priorities, opportunities, and buying signals.
  • Partnering closely with Account Executives to set up high-quality meetings and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of outreach and lead interactions in Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Continuously improving by seeking feedback, participating in coaching sessions, and developing sales and technical acumen.
Requirements:

  • Conviction for sales, with a drive to build pipeline and growth.
  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Interest and ability to understand technical products and customer use cases.
  • Team-first attitude with ownership.
  • Strong internal motivation to hit goals and improve every day.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
