Staff Data Engineer -- Applied Machine Learning

Job Description

Red Cell Partners is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to focus on Applied Machine Learning. This role involves developing and optimizing machine learning systems, training ML modules, and designing feedback systems. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into ML solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Applying data engineering, data analytics, data science, and quantitative analysis to develop and optimize machine learning (ML) systems.
• Training ML modules, designing and implementing training pipelines.
• Customizing and fine-tuning ML models.
• Designing feedback systems for continuous improvement.
• Selecting ML algorithms based on problems and data.
• Utilizing Python libraries for model development.
• Conducting A/B testing to compare and refine model performances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least two years of industry experience in data modeling and analytics.
• Experience building ML systems for deployment into production environments.
• Experience developing custom data models and algorithms for data set applications.
• Experience developing A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience managing ML model training pipelines.
• Experience analyzing model performance and data accuracy.
• Proficiency in predictive modeling, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Python.
