Senior Sales Development Representative

Job Description

Auctane is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to join their team in London. Auctane is passionate about helping businesses deliver, regardless of size or location, by providing solutions that meet industry and customer expectations. Auctane's products support hundreds of thousands of businesses in mailing and shipping billions of items annually.This role involves a high volume of phone and email communication to identify potential customers and generate new opportunities for the sales team.

• Prospecting, qualifying, and developing leads into sales-ready opportunities.
• Establishing rapport with prospects via telephone, email, and live chat.
• Managing and overcoming sales objections to develop interest.
• Transforming received leads into qualified sales opportunities.
• Researching target companies, contacts, and accounts.
• Documenting all activities in Salesforce.
• Capturing accurate and complete Prospect information.
• Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly new opportunity generation metrics.

Requirements for this role include:

• Minimum of 4 years experience as a Sales Development (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR).
• Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement about working in a startup environment.
• Goal-oriented and self-starter with a proven work ethic.
• Excellent telephone and personal demeanor.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and identify a problem's most fundamental elements.
• Ability to uncover business pain points and identify solutions.
• Ability to overcome challenges and determination to succeed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study a plus.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2B SaaS products.
• Proactive, well-organized, and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change.

• 25 days holiday (plus public holidays). Your holiday entitlement will increase to max. of 30 days, based on your length of service (2 yrs / 27 days, 3yrs / 28 days, 4yrs / 29 days and 5 yrs / 30 days)
