Software Development Engineer in Test-II

Job Description

Innovaccer is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-II) to ensure the quality and performance of their software products. The SDET-II will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborating with development and product teams to identify and address issues.

Role responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites for UI, API, and Database applications.
• Collaborating with software developers and product teams to understand requirements and design test plans.
• Performing code reviews and providing feedback.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
• Developing and executing performance and load-testing scripts.
• Mentoring and guiding junior SDETs and QA engineers.
• Improving test processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, rest-assured, Playwright, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience in SQL is a must.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
