Job Description
Legend Biotech is seeking a Material Science Engineer to join their team in Ghent, Belgium. This role is crucial for ensuring that packaging and materials meet the highest standards for use in a regulated environment. The Material Science Engineer will combine technical and material knowledge with strong interpersonal skills to contribute to the production of advanced CAR-T cell therapies.
Role Involves:
- Project Leadership during change implementations.
- Ensuring materials are properly validated for manufacturing processes.
- Communicating priorities clearly across departments.
- Engaging with stakeholders from Quality, Operations, and Procurement.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related role, ideally within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Good understanding of CAR-T manufacturing processes and materials.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- A data-driven mindset and proficiency in tools like Excel.
