Mid Level Software Frontend Engineer

Job Description

Wellhub is seeking a Mid-level Frontend Software Engineer to join their Billing Platform team in Brazil. The Billing and Platform UX team is responsible for the billing platform experience that serves the entire Wellhub business, processing millions of transactions for users and companies around the globe. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and payment service providers to deliver optimum checkout conversion rates and efficient account management interactions.

The role involves researching and executing strategic projects, influencing B2B and B2C checkout conversion, implementing solutions with a cross-functional team, and developing engineering skills in scalability, system architecture, and code quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Research and execute strategic projects.
• Implement and deliver solutions working with a cross-functional team.
• Develop engineering skills by getting involved in scalability problems, system architecture, code quality assurance, among others.

Requirements:

• Experience in developing front-end based on RESTful APIs.
• Experience with the ReactJS ecosystem.
• Experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of react components.
• Experience in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling-out features to production
• Software quality and test automation mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese
• Good understanding of how a browser works behind the scenes.
• Prior experience in React Native and advanced English level are mandatory requirements.
