Jumia, a leading pan-African e-commerce platform, is seeking a Social Media Manager to enhance its online presence in Ghana. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy across all platforms to grow Jumia Ghana’s online presence, increase engagement, drive traffic, and support commercial performance.

The role demands a highly creative, data-driven, and organized professional with a deep understanding of digital content trends, platform algorithms, and brand management in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy.
  • Leading content creation and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing social media platforms.
  • Solid understanding of platform algorithms and social commerce.
  • Proficiency in content creation and social media management tools.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and performance-driven.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG is a plus.
