Job Description
VTEX is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Pricing & Promotions team. This role requires a technically strong individual with experience in both technical leadership and people management. The Engineering Manager will support the team in defining technical direction, ensuring execution excellence, meeting deadlines, tracking career development, and managing team priorities. The Pricing & Promotions team consists of 7 engineers and focuses on backend development for the Pricing platform and admin UI rewrite for the Promotions platform.
The role involves:
- Supporting the team in defining the technical direction.

Requirements:
- Strong software architecture knowledge and experience with distributed systems.
- Strong background in complex technology environments, such as high-scalability systems.

- Strategic mindset with a pragmatic approach to execution and trade-off analysis.
- Experience with backend and frontend technologies.
- English proficiency at an intermediate level or higher.
