Job Description
Dashlane is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Paris, France. This role involves leading a cross-functional agile team of approximately 8 engineers focused on enhancing user security and core product features through AI-powered capabilities. The Engineering Manager will drive technical delivery, project planning, and foster collaboration within and beyond the team, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision. They will also play a key role in driving innovation, shaping technical direction, mentoring engineers, and evolving the team’s structure and practices to support growth and scale.

Role Involves:
  • Building a strong ownership and accountability culture within the team.
  • Helping direct reports grow as managers, leaders, engineers, and teammates.
  • Recruiting new software engineers and participating in Dashlane’s effort to be visible in the tech community in Paris.
  • Supporting the team and making them autonomous by providing the necessary tools.
  • Leading managerial initiatives to improve current systems and processes.
  • Delivering Engineering strategy goals and contributing to shaping roadmaps and technical initiatives.
  • Working closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver on the Product Roadmap.
  • Helping define the direction of the Product Experience teams to improve the stability, security, and quality of the Dashlane product.
  • Collaborating with teams of engineers, product managers, testers, customer support agents, and others.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in people and project management (ideally in a distributed environment).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with ML, web and backend development
  • Experience with a company at roughly Dashlane's size and scaling up (100-500 employees)
  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or similar relevant field
