Senior Product and Platform Counsel

Job Description

Yext, a leading digital presence platform, is seeking a Senior Product and Platform Counsel to join its Legal Team. This role is crucial for advising the company on regulatory and compliance aspects of its products and platform, from concept to launch. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience in data protection, privacy, AI, and cybersecurity.He/She will be responsible for:

• Working with business units to ensure product compliance.
• Collaborating with product teams to align compliance with business roadmaps.
• Monitoring regulatory landscapes and translating legal requirements.
• Educating teams on legal considerations for new technologies.
• Assisting with the negotiation of commercial contracts.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience, including in-house experience.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience in SaaS, enterprise technology, or regulated industries.
• Deep understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and AI governance.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into business advice.
• Strong stakeholder management and business acumen.
