Product Manager, Mobile

Job Description

KAYAK is seeking a skilled and analytical Product Manager to join their product team in Berlin. The Product Manager will be responsible for understanding travelers’ needs and translating them into mobile experiences. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to iterate on and prioritize features, using data to facilitate discussions, and driving concepts from requirements to launch.

Role Involves:

• Defining and communicating priorities for Android and iOS apps.
• Collaborating with meta product owners to implement core search features.
• Facilitating the ideation, design, and implementation of product improvements.
• Defining and prioritizing user problems and feature specifications.
• Measuring the success of product changes and pursuing relevant metrics.
• Collaborating with customer support and UX to collect feedback.
• Supervising competitive landscape and staying abreast of mobile technology.

Requirements:

• Proven consumer mind-set with preference for e-commerce and B2C mobile background.
• Specific experience in supporting and leading mobile product strategy.
• Strong ownership of problems and a proactive approach.
• Demonstrated ability to rely on data for decision-making.
• Good business judgment, BS/BA required, technical background strongly preferred, MBA or similar experience a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and love of numbers.
• Ability to collaborate with teams across different cultures and timezones.
• A regular traveler and appreciative to the challenges our users encounter.
