Job Description

Pela Case is seeking a Graphic Designer for a maternity leave coverage. The Graphic Designer will contribute to the visual identity of the brand by creating graphic elements, designing artworks, and driving the artistic direction for laser engraving and print programs. The role involves collaboration with the marketing team and external contractors.

Role involves:

• Collaborating with the Marketing team to translate creative briefs into brand-aligned artwork.
• Executing artwork and graphic design concepts across a range of styles.
• Owning the graphic product design process for laser engraving and print programs.
• Developing cohesive art collections for seasonal product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Providing creative feedback and ensuring work aligns with brand guidelines.
• Staying current on design trends and experimenting with new technologies.
• Supporting artist series collections and the launch of new mobile devices.
• Initiating process improvements and embracing emerging tools, including AI-powered design platforms.
• Supporting the Marketing team with content creation and design work.
• Designing packaging, hang tags, user manuals, and other printed material.
• Becoming an expert in environmentally friendly printing techniques.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of graphic design experience, preferably in consumer products or apparel.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in illustration styles.
• Solid understanding of core design principles.
• Ability to approach each project objectively.
• Effective collaborator with strong planning and execution skills.
• Proven ability to translate cultural and social trends into successful design concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Interest in sustainable design practices and knowledge of eco-friendly materials and production methods is a plus.
