Job Description
Policy Expert is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their Retail Price Optimisation team. This role involves redefining pricing decisions through advanced analytics, machine learning, and modern cloud infrastructure. The Senior Data Scientist will contribute to faster, smarter, and fairer pricing strategies, impacting both customers and the business.
Role Involves:
- Developing and maintaining customer lifetime value and price sensitivity models.
- Owning and delivering pricing optimisation processes.
- Introducing advanced analytics techniques and machine learning approaches.
- Partnering with ML Engineering to integrate models with Radar API.
- Supporting and mentoring junior analysts.
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of statistical methods and ML algorithms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Extensive experience in taking statistical/ML solutions from prototype to production.
- Proactive technical leadership and excellent communication skills.
