Product Design Manager

Job Description

Tide is seeking a Product Design Manager to join their team and contribute to building a business management platform for small businesses. The Product Design Manager will collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Owners, and senior stakeholders to define strategic objectives and goals, identify and prioritize product roadmap initiatives, and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives.

The role involves:

• Identifying and prioritizing product roadmap initiatives.
• De-risking initiatives through research and collaboration.
• Defining outcome measurements and success metrics.
• Delivering validated outcomes in incremental ways.
• Partnering with Product Engineering for aligned delivery.
• Monitoring customer impact and operational success.
• Championing Design thinking across Tide.
• Leading and mentoring a team of Product Designers.

Requirements include:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in UX or Product Design.
• Experience in a SaaS company.
• In-depth knowledge of Product Design methodologies.
• Ability to simplify objectives and projects.
• Proficiency in leading design reviews and using design tools like Figma.
• Experience in user testing and research methodologies.
• Experience working in an agile scale-up environment.
• Data-driven approach with experience using tools like Looker, Heap, GA, or Hotjar.
