Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Content Acquisition Manager to join their Content organization. This role involves identifying, licensing, and integrating financial and industry content to meet the needs of AlphaSense users. The Content Acquisition Manager will manage relationships with content vendor firms, prospect for new content sources, negotiate commercial arrangements, and contribute to the successful launch of content into the market.

What this role involves:
  • Managing relationships with key decision-makers at content vendor firms.
  • Prospecting for new potential content sources and partners.
  • Negotiating commercial and contractual arrangements with new content vendor partners.
  • Organizing and tracking vendor partner contracts for renewal timing and review.
  • Assisting in project management of partnership initiatives with content providers.
  • Analyzing competing products and gathering customer feedback.
  • Contributing to the successful launch of content into the market.
  • Monitoring client usage of content within AlphaSense products.
  • Tracking industry trends and delivering competitive intelligence.

Requirements:
  • Experience at a financial information/technology content vendor or client.
  • Existing relationships with content providers.
  • Strong experience with commercial and contractual negotiation.
  • Ability to review license grants and other terms within vendor partner agreements.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Subject-matter expertise with content feeds, metadata, and data delivery types.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Google Sheets/Google Docs/Google Slides experience.
  • B2B SaaS and/or enterprise software application company experience.

What this role offers:
  • A competitive base compensation range of $165,000 - $190,000 USD.
