Director of Product Design, Enterprise Intelligence

Job Description

AlphaSense is seeking a Director of Product Design to lead the user experience vision and design of enterprise integration capabilities. The Director will define design strategy based on a deep understanding of enterprise workflows, the company's tech stack, and the competitive landscape. This role involves partnering with platform and AI/ML engineering teams to understand how customer content is parsed, transformed, and made semantically searchable at scale.About the Role:

• Leading design strategy and execution for a core area of the AlphaSense platform.
• Managing and growing a team of product designers, providing coaching and career development.
• Facilitating design critiques and collaborative working sessions.
• Partnering with Product and Engineering leads to prioritize customer needs.
• Owning and evolving the design process within the group.
• Translating complex problems into elegant and accessible experiences.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.
• Championing design quality and innovation.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in digital product design, including 3–5 years in a design leadership or team management role.
• Experience leading design for complex B2B or enterprise SaaS products.
• Track record of delivering impactful design outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to give clear, actionable feedback across UX disciplines.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and/or modern design tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong product thinking and business acumen.
• Experience designing for complex data or content-heavy products.
• Comfortable with fast-paced, iterative product development.
• Passionate about advocating for users and ensuring accessibility, usability, and quality.
