Job Description
SurveyMonkey is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Padova, Italy. This role involves developing and productionizing novel machine learning algorithms to help customers from survey creation to insight extraction. The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work closely with the ML team to seamlessly ship models in production, implement and utilize intelligent tools and technologies, and play a key role in deriving insights from data. They will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior machine learning engineers.
What this role involves:
- Proposing novel machine learning algorithms and productionizing them.
- Working closely with the ML team to ship models in production.
- Implementing and utilizing intelligent tools and technologies.
- Deriving key insights from data and suggesting new product features.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on data science experience.
- Expertise in machine learning model development.
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models using tools such as Athena, Sagemaker, Snowflake, and Airflow DAG.
