Job Description

SILMC - SERVICIOS INTEGRADOS DE LEALTAD, MERCADOTECNIA Y COMUNICACIÓN, S.A.P.I. DE C.V. is seeking a Software Engineer Backend to support backend development and collaborate on small-scale components, including tools and microservices applications. The Software Engineer will participate in the development and testing of successful software solutions and resolve straightforward technical issues. The role involves following standards and guidelines for secure development under the guidance of the Engineering Lead.Responsibilities include:

• Developing software solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Documenting code and complying with regulations to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Developing and maintaining APIs to support applications and services.
• Implementing solutions using container technologies.
• Collaborating with Architecture, Data Management, and DevOps teams.
• Gathering and documenting requirements in JIRA stories.
• Writing unit and integration tests.
• Maintaining documentation on architectures, procedures, and operational tools.
• Developing tools and scripts to automate operational tasks.

Requirements include:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with tools like Maven, Gradle, Github Actions, Sonar Cloud.
• Experience with Scrum and Jira management.
• Experience creating microservices and consuming REST services/APIs.
• Proficiency in Git.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Java development with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
