Carta is seeking a Head of Public Relations to shape the company's public narrative and elevate its position in the private markets. This role involves driving strategic communications, expanding brand awareness, and positioning Carta as a trusted resource to media and influencers. The Head of PR will report to the Vice President of Global Communications and will play a critical role in building trust, brand equity, and market momentum.
Responsibilities include:
Driving strategic communications to elevate Carta’s market presence.
Developing and executing PR strategies that amplify Carta’s position as the ERP for private capital.
Expanding brand awareness beyond venture capital into adjacent sectors like private equity and limited partners.
Ensuring Carta’s fund accounting and reporting platform is consistently represented in high-impact media coverage.
Crafting compelling narratives that position Carta as a category-defining innovator.
Leading integrated PR campaigns that highlight Carta’s business momentum.
Amplifying strategic partnerships to expand Carta’s influence.
Advancing executive visibility through thought leadership.
Positioning Carta as a trusted resource to media and influencers.
Fostering collaboration and communications excellence across the company.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in B2B PR and Communications with at least 3 years in-house.
Good relationships with tech and business (private equity and private credit is a plus!).
Strategic and analytical thinker.
Ability to bring people along in planning and act as a team unifier.
Comfort and agility in a fast-paced environment.
Experience overseeing a public relations agency.
Understanding of how subfunctions of marketing come together to create impact.
