Job Description

G-P is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead agile development teams responsible for building and maintaining full-stack web applications for AI-driven products. The role involves partnering with Product, Architecture, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions. The Senior Manager will provide technical leadership and people management, ensuring strong engineering practices, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality software at scale.Responsibilities include:

• Leading and growing software engineering teams.
• Partnering with Product Managers and Architects to define technical direction.
• Driving the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure web applications.
• Ensuring engineering excellence through code reviews and technical mentorship.
• Owning team delivery and ensuring high-quality features are shipped on time.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user needs.
• Promoting agile practices and helping evolve SDLC and DevOps processes.
• Playing a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing engineering talent.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on web applications.
• 5+ years of technical leadership with engineering management experience.
• Deep knowledge of React and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS with a strong understanding of serverless and containers.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with distributed teams.
