Director of Compliance

Payhawk, a leading global spend management solution, is seeking a Director of Compliance to join their team in Vilnius. This role is crucial for ensuring the compliance function within Payhawk Financial Services UAB (PFS UAB), a licensed Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Lithuania. The Director of Compliance will oversee current processes, drive the implementation of new ones, and work as an integrated part of the global Compliance team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with Lithuanian and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Developing and maintaining internal compliance policies.
• Identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
• Conducting internal compliance audits.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for local regulators.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Delivering training sessions and awareness initiatives.
• Providing updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian and EU financial regulations.
• Strong track record of working with local regulatory authorities.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in both Lithuanian and English.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience conducting compliance audits and managing regulatory inspections.
